In line with the requirements of businesses today, candidates for these roles are often commercially-minded business partners who will facilitate business development or best practice. As such they will possess the communication and people skills that enable them to act as a link between finance, HR and leadership teams across a business or wider Group. They may often work with (or as part of) the Board to deliver reports and consultative advice, often in a commercial context.
