Caretaker

1to1 group are looking for an Estate Assistant for a role in Winchester as a temp to perm role. The hours are 30 hours per week.
Duties will include:
· General internal and external minor maintenance and repairs to buildings including: Plumbing and drains, leaks, glazing, pathways and roads, furniture, doors and windows, tools and machinery, general handyman duties
· To lift up to 15 kg weight, able to pick up items from ground, waist and head levels.
· Sufficient to work outside in all weathers
· To attend callouts outside of normal hours as part of a call out rota and attend certain events/functions outside of normal hours, as directed. This includes some evenings and weekends.
· Driving a minibus and other vehicles.
· To undertake emergency cleaning duties which may occur to ensure that these areas can be quickly put back into use. This includes the movement of stationery, deliveries etc.
· Acting as First Aider, as required.
· Complying with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations. To take reasonable care for Health/Safety of him/herself, and for others affected by his/her work and to co-operate with the employer in ensuring that Health and Safety responsibilities are carried out.
· Prioritising the safeguarding and participating in training on safeguarding matters.
· Contributing to the elimination of unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation; advancing equality of opportunity and fostering good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.
Desirable:
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Trade or maintenance background with skills in any of carpentry, masonry, electrics, plumbing.
· Driving licence.
