·Hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm , and Fridays, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.
·Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
 
 
1to1 Group are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join a well-established company in Newbury. The successful candidate will oversee the finance department, managing debt recovery, account reconciliations, escalations, and overall financial operations.

What will you be doing?
 
As a Credit Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
 
·Leading and supporting two other members of staff within the finance department.
·Debt Recovery: Chasing overdue payments via phone and email, following up on accounts, and escalating unresolved debt to legal teams.
·Account Management: Processing credits and refunds, reconciling accounts across finance systems, and ensuring accurate financial records.
·Reporting and Compliance: Pulling monthly aged debt reports, maintaining up-to-date account systems, and ensuring all communications are logged accurately.
·Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Responding to emails within a set timescale, handling escalations, and providing support to internal teams.
·General Finance Support.
 
 
 
Skills and Requirements:
 
·At least 1 year working in Credit Control.
·The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
·Strong communication skills.
·Proficiency using Excel.
·Team player with a proactive approach.
