 Logistics Coordinator
– Location: Winchester
– Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.30 am – 4.45pm, Friday 7.30 am – 12 pm.
– Salary: Competitive with benefits.
 
1to1 group are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our client in Winchester. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will help manage the flow of goods and materials, ensuring smooth operations. This is a great opportunity to develop your expertise in logistics within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
 
Key responsibilities:
·Coordinating shipments and working closely with planners to ensure on-time delivery.
·Liaising with suppliers, planners, and sales teams to track deliveries and ensure seamless communication.
·Reporting face-to-face to your line manager on any logistical concerns or delays.
·Providing weekly reports on stock shortages and any logistical issues.
·Booking collections for customer orders and ensuring timely dispatch.
·Placing purchase orders with suppliers and following up on deliveries.
·Continuously monitoring and improving the logistical processes to meet business needs.
 
Required skills and experience:
·Understanding of MRP systems is preferred, but full training will be provided.
·Strong communication and organizational skills to manage relationships and coordinate shipments effectively.
·Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
·Prior experience in a logistics or planning role is advantageous, though not essential.
