As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you’ll be responsible for keeping the Purchase and General Ledger running smoothly. Your main duties will include coding, scanning, and posting invoices, managing the weekly payment run, and setting up supplier accounts for inter-company COGS invoices, office overheads, travel, and other expenses.
You’ll also handle credit card transactions and expense claims, making sure everything is processed correctly and in line with company policy. In addition, you’ll support the sales ledger by processing incoming customer and non-customer payments, ensuring they’re allocated correctly, and unposted items are cleared.
You will
·Previous ledger experience, with a good understanding of accounting processes.
·Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
·The ability to work with minimal supervision.
·A compliance-focused approach to work.
